Good questions are welcome
Frequently asked questions.
Here are answers to common questions about how Select Health works. If you do not see yours, send us a message.

Before your visit
Clear answers, no guesswork.
Does Select Health accept insurance?
No. Our direct-care model frees us from many contractual restrictions and lets us offer discounted lab pricing and flexible membership options. We recommend keeping health insurance for major medical events, trauma, cancer care, specialists, and unexpected surgery.
What if I do not have insurance?
You can still receive the same standard of care and access at Select Health. We will explain your options and costs before care whenever possible.
Are there copayments?
There are no copayments for standard office visits covered by your membership. Medications, supplements, IV services, and non-routine labs may have additional costs, and we aim to keep those costs transparent.
Does Select Health work with Medicare?
Yes. Select Health does not bill Medicare for membership services, and members sign a waiver. Medicare may still cover eligible labs, imaging, medications, or hospital care ordered through the appropriate provider.
What if I do not need care very often?
Memberships are designed to support proactive and preventive care, not only sick visits. For people who do not want a membership, non-member visits are $65; annual exam labs are typically $95–$150.
Can I be seen on a weekend or after hours?
Saturday and evening visits are available by appointment only. If you have an urgent concern that cannot wait, please use the nearest walk-in clinic or emergency room.
What memberships are available?
Select Health offers Wellness / Direct Primary Care, four Weight Loss memberships, Hormone Optimization, and IV wellness memberships through The DRIPBaR. Explore each service page for current details.
Can I submit membership costs to my insurance?
No. Select Health does not submit membership fees to insurance.
Can I use an HSA or FSA for membership?
Not at this time. Please talk with your tax professional about any questions related to deductibility.
Are there services Select Health does not offer?
We do not treat chronic pain or manage chronic pain medications. We can help you identify an appropriate specialized provider.
